This information booklet has been compiled with a view to help the Medical Officers working in the Primary Health Centres to have necessary information to help the disabled as well as their parents especially those living in the rural and remote areas of the country where things do not happen just because of lack of information. The booklet has been revised and all the latest information has been added in order to make the booklet informative to the hilt. However, more such information will be supplied as and when it comes to the knowledge of the Council.

Although, all possible steps have been taken to assimilate as much information as we could lay on our hands, any suggestion to improve its quality would be thankfully accepted.
